Reporting to the Group Sales Director and responsible for a brand-new car sales team, you will take full responsibility for the sales operation across new and used vehicles, creating a high-performing culture while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is not a desk-based management role. Our client is looking for a hands-on, visible leader who enjoys being on the showroom floor, engaging with customers, supporting the team and leading from the front.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Drive new vehicle sales alongside a used car stock of 30–40 vehicles.
- Maintain exceptional standards of customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the sales process from enquiry to delivery, ensuring excellent conversion rates.
- Monitor stock levels, vehicle preparation and merchandising standards.
- Deliver strong F&I performance and profitability.
- Recruit, coach and develop team members to maximise their potential.
- Build relationships within the local community and identify new business opportunities.
- Produce accurate reporting and ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
