We are currently seeking a Skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a reputable team, delivering high-quality automotive maintenance and repairs.
What's On Offer?
- Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
- 5.5-day working week, Monday to Saturday with Saturdays
- Opportunities to work on a variety of vehicle repair tasks, from routine servicing to more complex work such as timing belts, clutches, and gearboxes
- MOT licence considered an advantage, opening further career development options

- Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to a high standard
- Conduct motor vehicle inspections and identify faults accurately
- Undertake complex repairs including gearboxes, clutches, and timing belts
- Complete all necessary documentation and communicate effectively with customers
- Maintain high quality standards and ensure health and safety protocols are followed
- Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures throughout every job
- Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or Level 2 with substantial relevant experience
- Proven experience working within a busy automotive workshop
- A thorough understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
- MOT licence is preferred but not essential
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
