We are currently recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician on behalf of our client in Loughton, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced technician to join a well-established dealership and further develop their career within the automotive industry.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £44,207 per annum
  • OTE of approximately £50,000 per year
  • Generous hourly rate of £18.84

  • 45-hour working week with a 30-minute lunch break
Duties:
  • Diagnosing and repairing passenger vehicles to the highest standards
  • Utilising diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently
  • Working seamlessly with the service team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining accurate repair and service records
  • Supporting the workshop with maintaining vehicle quality and safety standards
  • Participating in a rota for Saturday mornings as part of your working schedule
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician or similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of Volkswagen and other passenger vehicles
  • Recognised automotive qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
