We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join a reputable family-owned main dealership in Grays, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a team and drive performance within a well-established business.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum
  • OTE up to £65,000

  • Working Monday to Friday plus one in three Saturday mornings
Duties:
  • Oversee and lead the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Manage a team including four front of house staff and seven workshop technicians
  • Drive sales and achieve labour hours targets of 1100 to 1200 hours per month
  • Report directly to the MD and the Sales and Customer Experience Director
  • Develop staff careers through coaching and performance management
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within a main dealership environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills 
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to motivate staff and improve performance
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and managing KPIs effectively
