  • £39,729 Basic salary with an OTE of £45,729
  • Monday to Friday + 1 in 3 Sat am rota (Paid as overtime)
Our automotive client is the UK's Leading Business Vehicle Hire Specialist and they are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy team at their site based in Basildon, Essex. Here the management team are supportive and want you to achieve realistic targets along with a friendly team of Workshop Technicians to work alongside. They encourage internal progression for those who work hard, are dedicated to the company and want to learn!

They work on a multitude of vehicles ranging from cars to vans ensuring their fleet is safe and roadworthy for their customers to drive. The role will be completing services, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicle from cars to transit vans for multiple makes and models.

Detail & Benefits for the vehicle technician:
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm.
  • They currently don’t work Saturday but you must be flexible towards working them if required.
  • Annual Salary circa £39,729 basic with an overall earning of up to £45,729 p.a. (depending on experience).
  • Bonus Opportunity paid per quarter and earned through achieving set KPI’s.
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  • A comprehensive knowledge of cars & light commercial vehicle mechanics.
  • Able to work alone and under your own initiative diagnose, rectify and repair.
  • Must reside within a reasonable travel distance of Barking.
  • Must be level 3 qualified with certificates.
