  • Salary: Between £28,900-£33,700 per annum, pending experience.
  • Hours: 5-day week; Tuesday to Saturday 8:45am to 6:00pm.

Our client, a large franchise-approved motorcycle dealership in the Bridgend area, is currently looking for a Service Advisor to join their team.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside a service reception and workshop team, you will need to be a confident relationship builder, be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their motorcycle whilst delivering a first-class service, and also achieve the company's objectives and targets. You will greet customers in the Service Department and book their bikes in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, ensure the workshop diary is planned efficiently, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their bike whilst taking payments for work completed. 

To be eligible, a passion for motorcycles and everything two wheels is a must for our client. You will also need to have proven experience in customer service, ideally in a similar automotive/customer service environment. Strong organisational skills and a track record of achieving targets are essential. Exceptional team and communication skills are a must. Our client is also very open to considering Vehicle Technicians looking to come off the tools and move into an office-orientated role. A UK motorcycle licence with minimal points is highly desirable, but is non-essential.
