Our client is actively seeking a skilled MOT Tester to become a key part of their busy Service Department. Main duties of the MOT Tester include:
  • Conducting MOT tests in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Completing accurate reports on vehicle condition and work recommendations
  • Communicating test results and required repairs to the Service Reception team
  • Performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and fault repairs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment
Requirements for the MOT Tester role:
  • Valid VOSA MOT accreditation with at least two years’ relevant experience
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and testing procedures
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently within set timescales and meet targets
