- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely service.
- Assist customers in-store with product information and support sales initiatives.
- Load and unload goods, sometimes involving heavy lifting, with safety as a priority.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, customer requests, and daily operational issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
- Support warehouse activities such as stock organisation and inventory management.
- Providing exceptional customer service both face-to-face and via phone enquiries.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools to optimise delivery routes.
- Strong organisational skills for handling multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail, especially when recording inventory and order details.
- Experience in parts sales, warehouse operations, or logistics is advantageous.
- Parts mechanical knowledge is preferred but not essential.
