Vehicle Technician Required in Croydon for Family Run Service Centre 
  • Pay: £40,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE 
  • Hours: 8 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday ONLY! 
Our client, a reputable family-run service centre in Croydon, is actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking to work in a well-established environment that values quality workmanship and reliability. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and efficient vehicle repairs.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £40,000 to £45,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Duties:
  • Conducting complex mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
  • Carrying out tasks such as timing belts and chains, wet belts, clutches, EGR coolers, and other major repairs
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Ensuring repairs meet high standards of quality and safety
  • Maintaining detailed records of work carried out and adhering to workshop procedures
  • Providing excellent communication with customers and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in independent or multi-franchise workshops
  • Strong technical ability across varied vehicle brands and models
  • Confidence working on complex repairs and diagnostic tasks
  • Competence with major repair procedures, including timing belts, clutches, and EGR coolers
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
