We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable team in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional to develop their career within a well-established automotive workshop. The successful Vehicle Technician will have the chance to work in a busy environment that values quality work and professionalism.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of £35,000 per annum with an estimated OTE of £47,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours with Saturday mornings on a rotational basis

Duties:
  • Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Conducting diagnostics and fault finding on various vehicle systems
  • Performing routine maintenance and technical repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Ensuring all work completed meets safety and quality standards
  • Keeping detailed records of all work carried out and parts used
  • Assisting with vehicle inspections and preparing vehicles for customer collection
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • A good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronic systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
