Are you an experienced motor trade professional with a passion for maintaining and repairing groundcare machinery? A leading employer based in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, is seeking a skilled Groundscare Machinery Engineer to join their dedicated service team. Duties:
  • Service and maintain groundcare machinery including professional mowing equipment, utility vehicles, and handheld products to manufacturers’ specifications
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections on new machinery ensuring quality and safety standards are met
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults with precision
  • Operate diagnostic software using a laptop (training provided) to assist fault finding
  • Record detailed reports of work completed along with supporting photographs and documentation
  • Report machine defects and upsell services to improve customer satisfaction
  • Assist in other workshop duties as required to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Background in groundcare, agricultural, construction, or commercial vehicle service
  • Keen eye for detail and thorough approach to work
  • IT literate with the ability to operate diagnostic software
  • Full driving licence
  • Flexibility to work hours including Saturday mornings on a rota and extended hours during peak periods
  • Motivated team player with a proactive attitude
