We are recruiting for a Trainee Alloy Wheel Refurb & Tyre Fitter to join a reputable, award-winning vehicle preparation centre located in Dover, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the motor trade, with full training provided. The role offers a supportive environment, Monday to Friday working hours, and the chance to develop valuable skills in vehicle preparation.
Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £26,436.80 depending on experience and age
- Monday to Friday working hours – 07:30 to 16:30
- No weekends or overtime
- Full training provided in wheel refurbishment and tyre fitting

- Assist with alloy wheel refurbishment including rubbing, sanding, sandblasting, keying up, and disc abrasive work to restore wheels for sale
- Learn and support tyre fitting processes
- Support the team in vehicle prep tasks to a high standard
- Develop skills that could extend into diagnostic and servicing work in the future
- Full driving licence is essential for this role
- Strong attention to detail and a keen attitude to learn new skills
- Good work ethic and a responsible approach to tasks
- No formal qualifications required, training will be provided
- Enthusiasm for working in the automotive sector and a willingness to develop new skills
