We are currently recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy automotive service centre in Southport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to progress their career within a reputable company that values quality service and team collaboration.

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
  • Diagnose and perform repairs or servicing as required
  • Support the workshop team to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer service
  • Assist with vehicle diagnostics and minor repairs where necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all work carried out
  • Ensure workshop safety standards and protocols are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licence
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Relevant qualifications such as IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair are preferred
  • Alternatively, significant hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic with an active MOT licence will be considered
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to safety standards
