  • Location: Melton Mowbray
  • Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic (depending on experience) | OTE £56,000+
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm + 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a successful and expanding multi-franchise dealership in Melton Mowbray. Working across leading manufacturer brands, you'll play a key role diagnosing complex faults, carrying out advanced repairs, and supporting workshop efficiency within a modern, well-equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and advanced repair work to manufacturer standards
  • Complete electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs)
  • Ensure all repairs are completed safely, accurately and efficiently
  • Complete all workshop documentation to a high standard
  • Support workshop colleagues with technical guidance where required
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date through ongoing manufacturer training
About You:
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • EV qualification advantageous but not essential (training available)
  • Minimum two years' workshop experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
