Our client in Burgess Hill is looking for an experienced MET Technician to join their busy workshop. This role offers a perfect balance of hands-on technical work and part-time supervisory responsibilities in a modern, well-equipped environment.

Duties:
  • Carry out vehicle stripping, fitting, and repair tasks to a high standard
  • Assist in workshop organisation by allocating work to team members efficiently
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards
  • Support the workshop team with vehicle repairs when necessary
  • Maintain high health and safety standards within the workshop
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure workflow remains steady and jobs are completed on time
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician in a fast-paced bodyshop or dealership environment
  • Ability to perform vehicle stripping, fitting, and repair work confidently
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to assist in workshop control
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of quality
  • Reliable team player eager to contribute to workshop efficiency and standards
  • Competent in maintaining safety standards and supporting team members
