We are currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a well-established independent aftersales car centre located near Maidenhead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled automotive professional looking to advance their career within a reputable and supportive environment. The ideal individual will have a strong background in automotive aftersales, providing excellent customer service and efficient dealership operations.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £34,000 plus performance bonus which can increase total earnings to approximately £40,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm, with no weekend work
  • Car parking on site for staff comfort and convenience

Duties:
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all customer enquiries, delivering a professional first impression
  • Book and schedule customer vehicles for servicing and repairs whilst maintaining excellent communication
  • Provide accurate and transparent estimates for work required, ensuring customer understanding and trust
  • Update and maintain digital service records with all relevant customer and vehicle information
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relations to encourage repeat business
  • Promote dealership services and additional products to customers where appropriate
  • Support team members and carry out other related duties as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a service reception or adviser role within an automotive dealership or repair environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and independently when necessary
  • Good digital literacy, familiar with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred but not essential
  • A professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Valid UK driving licence
