Are you an experienced automotive professional seeking to take the next step in your career? Our client is currently recruiting for the role of Assistant Service Manager in Poole, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established dealership where you can lead a dedicated team and deliver outstanding customer service.
Benefits

Highly competitive basic salary of £38,000 with an OTE of up to £48,000
45 hours per week, with paid overtime for Saturday duties

Duties

Supervise and develop the service team to achieve high performance standards
Monitor workshop workload and ensure smooth workflow management
Greet customers professionally, discussing and confirming their vehicle requirements
Oversee collection and delivery drivers to ensure punctuality and customer satisfaction
Raise and process repair orders accurately and ensure timely completion
Manage invoicing, warranty authorisations, and job extensions in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Keep customers fully informed of costs, progress, and expected completion times
Oversee subcontracted repairs ensuring quality standards are maintained
Monitor team attendance, timekeeping, and overall performance
Maintain a tidy and professional work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience in an aftersales role within the motor trade
Experience working as a Service Advisor is essential
Supervisory or managerial experience in an aftersales environment
Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities
Knowledge of Kerridge or similar dealership management systems is advantageous
Immaculate appearance and a full valid driving licence are essential
