This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled panel beater to demonstrate expertise in vehicle body repairs while benefiting from a competitive salary and additional perks. Our client is seeking a dedicated Mobile Panel Beater who is ready to take on a varied role that involves working on both Hybrid and Electric Vehicles along with traditional cars.

  • Competitive basic salary of £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour) with progress increases after the 6-month probation period

Duties:
  • Perform precise panel repair and replacement on a variety of vehicles
  • Demonstrate confidence in MET skills, such as rebuilding doors, fitting front panels, and other structural components using appropriate tools
  • Weld and bond replacement panels and components securely to factory standards
  • Apply fillers and sealants to create smooth surfaces ready for painting
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Use tools and equipment in accordance with safety requirements and company protocols
  • Follow all safety procedures including the proper use of PPE
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high standards of repair
  • Complete tasks efficiently to meet set deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a vehicle panel beater within an automotive repair environment
  • Confident in repairing Hybrid and Electric Vehicles using suitable techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes and safety standards
  • Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Good team player with a positive attitude
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and working effectively under pressure
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
