Panel Technician vacancy in Prestige Accident Repair in Derby!
  • Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Technician to join a leading Prestige Accident Repair Centre in Derby, working on some of the finest and most prestigious vehicles in the world.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Panel Technician who takes genuine pride in their workmanship and has the attention to detail required to work to exceptionally high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing vehicles to an exceptionally high standard
  • Completing panel replacement and structural repairs
  • Carrying out body jig work accurately
  • Welding and structural repairs
  • Completing strip and refit work where required
  • Developing knowledge of aluminium welding and bonding techniques
  • Identifying and reporting any additional work required during the repair process
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to complete larger repairs and meet deadlines
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation
  • Keeping product and technical knowledge up to date
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a Panel Technician / Panel Beater within an accident repair centre or main dealership
  • Experience working with premium or prestige vehicle brands would be advantageous
  • Strong experience with structural repairs and body jig work
  • Confident welding and repairing vehicle structures
  • ATA accreditation or a recognised qualification is desirable
  • Strip and refit experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work accurately and maintain exceptionally high standards
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional approach
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Confident using modern tooling and IT systems
