We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a well-established automotive dealership in Barking, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled motor trade professional to take the next step in their career within a reputable company known for its strong team culture and commitment to employee development.

Duties:
  • Planning and controlling workshop loading to optimise productivity and efficiency
  • Allocating work to technicians and monitoring progress throughout each shift
  • Ensuring all workshop processes are completed to the highest standards
  • Managing customer communication and providing updates on vehicle repairs
  • Maintaining workshop productivity reports and analysing performance data
  • Supporting technicians and assisting with technical or operational issues when required
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Workshop Controller or in a comparable automotive workshop management role
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent leadership ability and team management skills
  • Good understanding of workshop processes and vehicle repair procedures
  • Ability to maintain high standards of customer service and communication
