Our client, a Multi-Franchise Main Dealer based within the Canterbury area of Kent, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. 

As a Vehicle Technician for our client, you will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections and using the latest diagnostic technology to diagnose any necessary faults. You will also perform routine services, maintenance and repairs. 

The successful Vehicle Technician will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. They will also ideally have a minimum of three years working in a main dealer garage, although applications from technicians with an independent garage background will be considered.

Duties:
  • Conductment of vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Undertaking Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHC)
  • Changing brake pads and other routine maintenance tasks
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach and confidence to work independently
  • Working within a team to ensure efficient workshop operations
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Technician or similar role
  • Level 2 qualification in vehicle maintenance is ideal, Level 3 is advantageous
  • Confidence in working autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic and good sense of humour
  • Ability to undertake training and develop additional skills, including EV technology
  • Valid driving licence
