We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy and modern bodyshop operation in Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional looking to take the next step in their management career within a well-established, manufacturer approved facility. Duties:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring smooth workflow and quality standards are met
  • Manage a team of approximately 12 technicians and oversee the use of two ovens
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Liaise with insurance companies and clients to facilitate efficient repairs and turnaround times
  • Monitor KPIs and manage budgets to optimise profitability
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are consistently followed in the workshop
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or in a similar management role within an automotive bodyshop environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience working with Tesla or similar premium vehicle brands is desirable
  • Familiarity with different bodyshop processes and quality standards
  • No specific dealer bodyshop training is required; however, being familiar with ACR or GROUP systems is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle a busy, high-volume site
