We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent garage located in Dereham, Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to develop their career within a supportive and friendly environment.

Duties:
  • Performing routine servicing and vehicle maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
  • Carrying out brake, suspension, and steering repairs
  • Clutch, timing belt, and MOT preparation work
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and fault finding
  • Performing trailer inspections and repairs
  • Completing accurate job sheets and maintaining a tidy work area
  • Providing excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent (City & Guilds, time served)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or Technician
  • Valid driving license
  • Reliable, hardworking, and motivated individual
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong diagnostic skills and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Willingness to develop skills and progress within the business
