- Salary: £21–£23 per hour
- Up to £59,800 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, with an increase upon successful completion of probation
- Hours: 7:00am–5:00pm Monday to Friday + 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:00pm depending on business requirements
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Painter looking to join a growing organisation that places a real emphasis on quality, training, career development and employee benefits.
The successful individual will ideally have at least 3 years' experience in vehicle painting and be confident carrying out the full painting process, from preparation and priming through to colour matching, painting and finishing.
As a Vehicle Painter, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, priming, masking and painting vehicles to a high standard
- Accurately colour matching panels to the original vehicle finish
- Applying paint correctly to achieve a high-quality finish
- Inspecting completed work and polishing where required
- Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following correct PPE and RPE procedures
- Working closely with colleagues as part of a busy repair team
- Ensuring all work meets the required quality and insurance standards
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Painter within an accident repair environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint processes and finishing techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- The ability to complete repairs from preparation through to final finish
- Good time management and the ability to work to strict deadlines
- The ability to remain productive in a busy, fast-paced workshop
- A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
- Relevant qualifications would be advantageous
