We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and reputable automotive service centre in Grays, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to develop their career within a busy and professional environment.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience plus bonuses
  • Uncapped earning potential with an achievable OTE of over £50,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8am to 6pm, with flexible options for a later start or earlier finish
  • Alternating Saturday shifts, typically one in three, from 8am to 2pm
  • Opportunities for training and career advancement within a professional team
Duties:
  • Carrying out diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
  • Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding vehicle issues
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures
  • Maintaining accurate service records and completing job sheets in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry
  • Full and valid motor vehicle technician qualifications (such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A customer-focused approach and professional attitude
