Our client is welcoming applications from Technician Testers and Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable independent garage in a modern and well-equipped workshop. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, this role offers the flexibility to fit your lifestyle while working in a supportive team environment. 

Benefits of the Technician role include:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £38,000 with an OTE potential of up to £41,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 08:00 to 17:00 with a 60-minute lunch break
  • Modern, well-lit, and heated workshop environment
  • Regular team initiatives such as Monday morning breakfast
  • Christmas shutdown from midday December 23rd to January 2nd, paid and not deducted from holiday allowance
Duties associated with the Technician position:
  • Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles efficiently and accurately
  • Conveying test results and additional work requirements clearly to the service reception team
  • Conducting vehicle diagnostics and repairs as required
  • Keeping up-to-date with technical knowledge and regulations
  • Maintaining high standards of quality inspection and customer service
  • Adhering to safety and workshop policies at all times
Requirements for the Technician:
  • Proven experience as an Technician
  • Valid MOT testing certification is desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
  • Able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • Full driving licence
