Vehicle Paint Sprayer Needed in Rochdale
  • Salary: £21–£23 per hour
  • Up to £59,800 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, with an increase upon successful completion of probation
  • Hours: 7:00am–5:00pm Monday to Friday + 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:00pm depending on business requirements

Perfect Placement are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Painter to join a modern, high-quality accident repair centre in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Painter looking to join a growing organisation that places a real emphasis on quality, training, career development and employee benefits. The successful individual will ideally have at least 3 years' experience in vehicle painting and be confident carrying out the full painting process, from preparation and priming through to colour matching, painting and finishing.

As a Vehicle Painter, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing, priming, masking and painting vehicles to a high standard
  • Accurately colour matching panels to the original vehicle finish
  • Applying paint correctly to achieve a high-quality finish 
  • Inspecting completed work and polishing where required
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following correct PPE and RPE procedures
  • Working closely with colleagues as part of a busy repair team
  • Ensuring all work meets the required quality and insurance standards
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter who can demonstrate:
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Painter within an accident repair environment
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint processes and finishing techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • The ability to complete repairs from preparation through to final finish
  • Good time management and the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • The ability to remain productive in a busy, fast-paced workshop
  • A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
  • Relevant qualifications would be advantageous
