Are you an experienced Service Technician looking for a new challenge within a thriving automotive environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join their expanding team in Tavistock, Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to develop their career with a reputable national automotive company that values training, development, and high standards of service.

  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other Saturday 8:30AM - 4:00PM and lieu day off when a Saturday is worked.
Duties:
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOTs to a high standard with attention to detail
  • Use the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
  • Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension, and mechanical components
  • Carry out fast fit tyre fitting, alignments, and relevant adjustments
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Provide accurate advice to customers on vehicle conditions and future repair needs
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of common issues for various makes and models
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience with mechanical repairs and fast fit services including tyre fitting, brakes, suspension, and exhausts
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for at least six months
  • Good customer service skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
