We are currently recruiting for the role of Centre Manager on behalf of a reputable automotive business in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a well-established fast fit centre, offering a competitive salary and excellent career prospects.

Benefits

Competitive basic salary up to £36,000 with an OTE of £39,600
Standard working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Saturdays on a rota basis with a day off in lieu

Duties

  • Overseeing team performance and fostering motivation, while actively encouraging sales and providing necessary training when required.
  • Enhancing the customer conversion rate by ensuring all team members follow the company's telephone etiquette and call-back procedures effectively.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations and overseeing the smooth running of the depot.
  • Upholding the security of the branch, including safeguarding stock, assets, customer data, and cash handling.
  • Maintaining precise stock control systems and procedures, ensuring they are audit-ready in line with company standards.
  • Guaranteeing that equipment and machinery are regularly maintained and serviced to ensure safe operation.
  • Ensuring that stock deliveries are promptly stored and accurately recorded into inventory on the day they arrive.
Keeping accurate service records and completing all necessary documentation
Providing excellent customer service and professionalism at all times

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have proven success as a Centre Manager or Assistant Centre Manager within the Automotive industry. 
  • Demonstrable success within a sales environment 
  • Mechanical experience / Automotive knowledge 
  • Experience of managing multiple priorities 
  • Good Working understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements 
  • A good understanding of car technology as it evolves
  • Outstanding customer service skills 
  • Experience of account management 

  • A full UK Driving Licence
