  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm & Saturday 8:00am – 5:00pm, with a day off during the week
  • Job Type: Full-time, with part-time considered on a pro-rata basis
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established automotive workshop in Swadlincote.

This role offers a stable, full-time position with a 5-day working week, including Saturdays and a weekday off. Part-time applicants may also be considered on a pro-rata basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and regulations
  • Ensure vehicles meet all required safety and roadworthiness standards
  • Accurately record MOT results and complete all necessary documentation
  • Identify any faults or defects during the testing process
  • Work efficiently and maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Ensure all testing is completed safely and professionally
  • Work as part of a wider workshop team
About You:
  • Valid MOT Tester licence – essential
  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester
  • Strong knowledge of MOT testing procedures and DVSA requirements
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional and reliable approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence required
