We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy, high-performing service department. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and lead a team of technicians within a well-established brand known for excellence. The Workshop Controller will be pivotal in ensuring efficient workshop operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of qualified and apprentice technicians to meet daily workshop demands
  • Allocate job cards and manage workloads to maximise productivity and efficiency
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work adheres to brand standards
  • Oversee technical workshop solutions, including EVHC and service booking systems
  • Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone, supporting the Service Advisor team as needed
  • Drive workshop profitability and customer satisfaction through effective operational management
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, ideally within a franchised dealership
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Proficient IT skills, preferably with EVHC software experience
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges
  • A professional, calm manner with a strong focus on delivering quality service
  • A customer-centric attitude and a pride in representing brand standards
