Workshop Controller Required in Epsom for Car Dealership
Pay: £34k Basic - with £45k realistic OTE 
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week - no Saturdays! 

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our client’s busy car dealership in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive professional to oversee workshop operations, ensure efficient workflow, and provide outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians and ensuring service targets are consistently met.

Duties

  • Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Allocate jobs to technicians and manage workflow to meet service deadlines
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team as needed
  • Liaise with service advisors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage workshop KPIs, including productivity and profitability targets
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role within a car dealership
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of workshop processes and automotive systems (preferably Kerridge/Drive)
  • Ability to organise workload and priorities effectively
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
