We are seeking a skilled and experienced VDA / Estimator to join a reputable accident repair centre in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to develop their career within a busy, forward-thinking team. As a VDA / Estimator, you will play an essential role in accurately assessing vehicle damage, providing detailed repair estimates, and coordinating repairs to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.

This position is offered as a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, providing a balanced working schedule to support your professional growth.

Duties:
  • Assess vehicle damage accurately and prepare comprehensive repair estimates
  • Coordinate repair processes with the workshop team to ensure timely completion
  • Liaise confidently with insurers, customers, and suppliers throughout the repair journey
  • Manage supplementary repair authorisations and negotiate repair costs
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Use estimating systems such as Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
  • Support the ongoing development of repair procedures and techniques
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Estimator / VDA role
  • Valid ATA VDA Accreditation (preferred)
  • Good understanding of modern vehicle repair techniques across various makes and models
  • Experience inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles
  • Familiarity with estimating systems such as Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently
  • High levels of personal integrity and attention to detail
