Panel Beater / MET Technician Required in Crawley
  • Pay: £45 - £55k Basic DOE 
  • Hours: 45 hours per week M-F 
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater / MET Technician to join a reputable body repair centre in Crawley. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional committed to delivering high standards of vehicle repair and customer service.

Duties:
  • Undertake mechanical diagnostic checks on vehicles before and after repairs
  • Carry out general mechanical work when required
  • Remove, repair, and fit vehicle body panels with attention to detail
  • Prepare vehicles and panels for topcoat and clearcoat applications
  • Identify necessary vehicle parts and prepare accurate lists for ordering
  • Operate equipment safely in accordance with company safety standards
  • Ensure the highest levels of repair quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician in vehicle body repair
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Excellent communication skills and customer care mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team under pressure
  • Welding experience is highly desirable but not essential (training available)
  • Recognised qualifications such as ATA or NVQ Level 3 are advantageous
