A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Service Advisor at our client's prestige franchise-approved car dealership in Newport.
  • Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience, with a £40,000 OTE based on achievement of performance bonuses. 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break, and 1 in 6 Saturday mornings 8:30am to 1:00pm

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work with a large aftersales team made up of a Service Reception Manager, 4 other Service Advisors, and around 15 Technicians. You shall be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles for service, maintenance or repair work and arranging, where necessary, a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers in the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle, and up-sell on additional products and services where possible.

The successful individual would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills along with IT literacy (any experience with Kerridge/ADP preferable) would be of high priority. Due to the nature of this role, recent or current experience as a Service Advisor or a similar role within the automotive industry would be ideal; however, our client is willing to accept applications from individuals with a very stable customer-facing career history. A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential for this position.
