- Salary: From £33,500 basic + OTE depending on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday – No Weekends
- Additional overtime and performance-based bonus opportunities available
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Completing more complex repairs, including engine, transmission, braking and other major component work where required.
- Carrying out thorough vehicle health checks and inspections, identifying any additional work required.
- Completing job cards and repair documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Keeping up to date with the latest automotive technology and participating in ongoing manufacturer and brand training.
- Providing a professional service and working closely with the wider aftersales team.
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a busy workshop team.
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Main dealership experience would be advantageous, although strong independent garage experience will also be considered.
- Basic salary from £33,500, with OTE dependent on experience.
- Monday to Friday working – no weekends.
