Highly Skilled Vehicle Technician & High Voltage Technician Required for Unique Car Dealership in Guildford

Pay: £38,000 - £42,000 Basic + £6k OTE 
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 

Our client is seeking a highly skilled technician to join their dynamic team at their Guildford location. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals eager to work on a mixture of sports cars, conventional engines, and electric vehicles, in a fast-paced and specialised environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in servicing, repairing, and diagnosing a wide range of vehicles, contributing to the dealership's innovative approach to high-performance motor vehicles.

  • Up to £6,000 bonus potential, with an indicative OTE of approximately £48,000

Duties

  • Servicing and repairing high-performance sports cars, including both internal combustion and electric vehicles
  • Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, including high-voltage systems
  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks and safety inspections
  • Contributing to the EV service and repair branch with versatility on a range of modern and older vehicles
  • Maintaining accurate and clear documentation for warranty claims
  • Working collaboratively with team members and management to ensure high service standards
Requirements

  • Level 3 vehicle technician qualification or equivalent
  • High-voltage specialist training essential
  • Competence in ICE engine diagnostics and repairs
  • Experience working with sports cars and a variety of vehicle models
  • Dealer experience preferred but not essential, with a focus on versatility and adaptability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under targets
  • Willingness to attend ongoing training and develop knowledge of new vehicle technology
