Our client a BMW & Mini independent Specialist with 20 years trading are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician for their highly reputable workshop based in Southampton, Hampshire. We are ideally seeking individuals with strong experience within fault finding and diagnostics, preferably with experience using BMW ISTA diagnostics systems.
  • Basic Salary Circa £38,000. 
  • Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00
  • Saturdays available at overtime.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and test drives to assess performance.
  • Carrying out complex vehicle repairs as required
  • Using Autologic & ISTA diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
  • Completing service records and documentation accurately
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image
What our client expects of their Vehicle Diagnostics Technicians
  • Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or experience in similar role
  • Experience using BMW ISTA diagnostics systems (advantageous)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • You Must have your own toolkit sufficient to enough to carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving license.
