  • Basic Salary: £40,000 + Bonus 
  • OTE: £52,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • No Weekends
  • Company Car 
Our client, an established main dealer group, is looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive professional looking to join a successful business that places a strong focus on customer service, team development and high performance.

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service Department, ensuring the team delivers excellent customer service while achieving key performance and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the Service Department to achieve agreed targets.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Service and Workshop functions.
  • Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor departmental performance, productivity and profitability.
  • Manage, coach and develop members of the Service team.
  • Ensure company processes and standards are followed.
  • Deal effectively with customer concerns and complaints.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within the motor trade.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive Service Department operations.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Commercially aware with a strong understanding of departmental KPIs.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Well organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous relevant motor trade experience is essential.
