An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a lead independent specialist business as a Branch Manager at their Bournemouth site. This role offers a chance to oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and contribute to the company's ongoing growth.

A structured working week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of the Bournemouth branch, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of quality control
Manage, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and support staff
Act as the primary customer-facing representative, fostering strong relationships with clients and suppliers
Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies
Implement and oversee operational procedures, ensuring efficiency and organisational structure

Requirements

Proven experience as a workshop controller, master technician, or in a similar managerial role within the motor trade
Strong mechanical knowledge with a background as a time-served mechanic
Excellent people management and communication skills
Ability to oversee work quality and lead a team without being primarily technical on a day-to-day basis
Knowledge of heavy mechanics and diagnostics is essential
Skilled at providing exceptional customer service and representing the business professionally
Approachable leadership style with organisational and motivational skills
