Assistant Vehicle Parts Manager - North Bristol.
  • Salary: Up to £35-36,000 per annum, pending experience, plus a monthly performance-related bonus of around £5,000 per annum.
  • Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm paid at time-and-a-half rate.

Our client, a multi-award-winning premium franchise-approved car dealership situated in the North Bristol region, requires an experienced Assistant Parts Manager to join their busy Parts Department!

Reporting to the Parts Manager and working as part of a large and friendly team in a state-of-the-art facility, your key responsibilities will include: 
  • Organising the efficient running of the Parts Department, including the workshop counter, on-site bodyshop, trade parts, retail counter and van logistics to ensure parts are obtained and delivered promptly.
  • Manage stock control and ordering patterns, including regular stock takes and accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers both in person and over the phone.
  • Support the service department by ensuring all parts requests are handled promptly, accurately and with clear communication.
To be eligible, you will need to hold recent or current vehicle parts experience working within a franchise-approved automotive dealership, at either a supervisory or management level. Overall, you will hold excellent organisational skills and communication skills, a proven ability to motivate, support and lead a team in a fast-paced environment, the ability to problem solve and manage people, be IT literate (experienced with Kerridge or Drive would be advantageous), and have a full valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
