Our client is a successful and established automotive bodyshop in Kirkby, Nottingham, looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their busy accident repair centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to become part of a professional bodyshop environment, supporting customers throughout the vehicle repair process and ensuring they receive a high level of service from initial contact through to completion of their repair.
  • Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week – flexible working hours available
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the repair process.
  • Welcome customers and provide a professional and friendly service.
  • Manage customer enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
  • Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
  • Arrange vehicle bookings and collection/delivery where required.
  • Liaise with the workshop team to obtain accurate repair updates and timescales.
  • Communicate with insurers and other relevant parties when required.
  • Explain repair processes and timescales clearly to customers.
  • Deal with customer queries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.
  • Ensure customers receive regular updates throughout their vehicle's repair journey.
  • Support the wider team with general administration and customer service duties.
Our client is looking for a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor with:
  • Previous experience in a customer service, administration, service advisor or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A friendly and professional approach to customer service.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple customers and priorities effectively.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team.
  • Previous automotive or bodyshop experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
