Vehicle Technician Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team in Romsey, Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a friendly environment with a reputable independent garage that has proudly served the community for over 26 years. The ideal Vehicle Technician will be confident working on a range of vehicles, including cars, vans, motorhomes, and light commercials, and will have a strong all-round mechanical background with diagnostic capabilities.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £30,000 to £45,000, with the potential to earn up to £50,000 for the right individual
  • Opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop with modern diagnostic systems
  • 08:30 - 17:00 Mon - Thurs and 3PM early finishes on Fridays

Duties:
  • Conducting servicing, repairs, diagnostics on petrol and diesel vehicles as well as light commercials
  • Specialist work such as cambelts, wet belts, clutch replacements, and engine diagnostics
  • Prioritising high standards of workmanship and efficient turnaround times
  • Working independently while collaborating effectively with the team
  • Maintaining accurate repair logs and adhering to safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong mechanical background
  • Confidence working on a variety of vehicles, including motorhomes and light commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of diagnostics using Snap On, Launch Diagnostics, and other systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant qualifications or significant experience in the automotive industry
