Are you an Vehicle Technician looking for a business that will invest in your development and help you build a long-term career in the motor trade?  We are recruiting for a busy and expanding automotive business looking to welcome a Vehicle Technician to its growing workshop team. Whether you have recently completed your Level 2 or Level 3 automotive qualification, have some workshop experience, or are currently working as a technician, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
  • Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 Basic Salary 
  • Monday to Friday | No Weekends

The Vehicle Technician Role:
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
  • Assist experienced technicians with more complex mechanical and technical work.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections and identify faults, with guidance and support where required.
  • Develop diagnostic skills and gain experience working with modern vehicle systems.
  • Work towards further automotive qualifications, including Level 3 and electric vehicle training.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, workshop safety and customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the workshop operates efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous workshop experience or a genuine interest in developing a career in vehicle maintenance.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous, although individuals with relevant practical experience will also be considered.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to developing technical skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and is happy to support colleagues.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
What's on Offer?
  • Basic salary of £24,000 – £28,000, depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday working hours, generally around 7:30am – 5:00pm.
  • Flexible working patterns available by agreement.
  • No weekend working expected.
  • 25 days' annual holiday, with Christmas off.
  • Access to a dedicated training academy, including electrical systems and electric vehicle qualifications.
  • Opportunities to progress towards higher-level technical qualifications and MOT testing.
