Garage Centre Manager Required for National Car Garage Group in Caterham, Surrey
  • Pay: Circa £40k Basic Salary + Bonus + Incentives
  • Hours: 45 hours per week - Monday - Saturday (5 days over 6)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fast-Fit Centre Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy fast-fit centre in Caterham, Surrey. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 to £40,000, plus performance-related bonus opportunities and excellent career progression.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage the daily operations and commercial performance of the fast-fit centre
  • Drive sales targets, maximise customer conversion rates and manage customer call-backs
  • Motivate, train and coordinate workshop and front-of-house teams
  • Monitor centre performance against monthly KPIs and support the delivery of profit targets
  • Oversee stock control, inventory processes, branch security and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and Health and Safety requirements
  • Support the ongoing development and performance management of the team
  • As Garage Centre Manager, create a positive, professional and customer-focused working environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Fast-Fit Centre Manager, Assistant Fast-Fit Manager, Fast-Fit Branch Manager or Independent Garage Manager, Workshop Foreman etc
  • A strong background within the automotive, fast-fit or vehicle servicing industry
  • Proven commercial and sales experience, with the ability to drive revenue and improve customer conversion
  • Good technical and mechanical understanding of cars
  • Strong leadership, communication and team management skills
  • The ability to work confidently in a busy, target-driven environment
  • A full current UK driving licence
  • A proactive approach to customer service, operational standards and team development
