Our client, an established independent automotive service centre in Newport specialising in premium vehicles, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its friendly team of five.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis on a range of customer vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Formal qualifications are desirable but not essential. You must, however, have proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and be confident carrying out cambelt and timing chain replacements, alongside diagnostic work. You will need a full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points, a reliable and committed approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team. A strong eye for detail, pride in your workmanship and the motivation to achieve team targets are essential.
