MET Technician – Leicester

  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week – Flexible working times
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced MET Technician to join their busy Bodyshop team in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MET Technician to join an established accident repair business, offering competitive hourly rates, additional earning potential and flexible working times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles.
  • Strip and refit vehicle components as required during the repair process.
  • Remove and replace mechanical and electrical components.
  • Work alongside Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure repairs progress efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Identify additional faults or issues and report these where necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Our client is looking for an experienced MET Technician with:
  • Previous experience working within a professional Bodyshop environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and trim repair knowledge.
  • The ability to strip and refit vehicle components efficiently.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A reliable, professional and positive approach.
