Duties
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Peterborough branch, ensuring high standards of service, safety and efficiency.
- As a Branch Manager, take responsibility for branch revenue, profitability and overall performance.
- Maximise workshop utilisation, productivity and resource planning across the branch.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of around seven to eight employees, including administrative, workshop and field-based engineering staff.
- Build strong working relationships with dealerships, Motability partners and WAV converters.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to support continued branch growth.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts and branch performance, taking action where improvements are required.
- Work closely with the Workshop Senior Technician and Service and Installation Coordinator.
- Ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to completed vehicle adaptation.
- Regularly visit dealer partners and external contacts to develop commercial opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Fast Fit Manager, Service Manager or Fast Fit Branch Manager.
- Experience managing or supervising an operational team.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and business performance.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- A proven ability to improve operational efficiency and drive business performance.
- Confidence building relationships with customers, dealerships and external partners.
- A proactive approach to business development and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Experience within the automotive, mobility, engineering or service sectors would be advantageous, although transferable operational leadership experience will also be considered.
