Our client, a well-established Main Dealer, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.

You'll assist in the management and control of all aspects of vehicle financial affairs. You'll help maximise cash flow and return capital and ensure the Finance team work efficiently within approved guidelines. We are looking for applicants who are AAT Qualified or studying later stages and have had use of Microsoft Office suit (e.g Excel, Word, Outlook.)

You'll have strong administrative skills and high attention to detail whilst handling sensitive and confidential information. With previous accounts experience as well as being numerate and literate, you could see your career take off this year. 

Key Responsibilities for a Accounts Assistant:
  • Support colleagues in managing all aspects of vehicle financial affairs.
  • Support the organisation in meeting business objectives through rigorous and robust control of vehicle assets, ensuring they are managed to maximise value.
  • Manage customer and stakeholder expectations by keeping them well-informed and managing communication proactively.
  • Understand the need for honesty, diplomacy and the highest standards of ethics in all financial dealings.
  • Act within the limits of your authority and seek guidance when needed, accountable for achieving your own objectives.
  • Identify areas of personal development and growth and act on feedback to improve personal performance.
