HGV Technician Required for Truck & Bus Dealership Based in Redhill, Surrey 
  • Pay:  Up to £48,789 Per Annum + overtime 
  • Hours: 4 on 4 Off Days 6am - 6pm 
Our Client a Multi-Site Franchised Commercial vehicle dealership are currently seeking an HGV Technician for their dealership near Redhill, Surrey to assist with 4 on 4 off shift.   The Client is one of the largest dealers of their partnered manufacturer, they have been operating in the commercial vehicle sector for nearly 40 years! The group has won a number of awards previously for their standards of customer services. They offer a wide range of transport related services through its Service, Parts and Road Taker specialist services.   They are seeking a qualified HGV Technician, preferably with Main Dealer experience but open to other Vehicle Mechanics.

Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:  
  • Carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer's procedures within standard times set.
  • Vehicle inspection
  • General servicing
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Repair of vehicle defects
  • Road test vehicles
  • MOT preparation/presentation.
  • Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty required.
  • Completion of all required paperwork accurately
What our Client expects of their HGV Technician  
  • Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent).
  • Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry.
  • Have a full driving licence.
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to work to instruction
